Dr. James Bowers
“I love what I do!”
Dr. Bowers has been practicing internal medicine since 1994 after he completed his residency in Portland, Oregon. He has lived in the Pacific Northwest since coming from Southern California in 1978 to attend the University of Washington.
He completed both his Bachelors in Nursing and Medical Doctorate at the University of Washington.
He continues to practice primary care internal medicine and added medical aesthetics to his medical practice in 2014. Loving to do procedures, medical aesthetics gives him the satisfaction and pride in doing his best work with all of his aesthetic procedures. He is forever learning and is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE.)
When he is not doing the “doctoring business”, Dr. Bowers loves, loves to cook and learn new cooking techniques. He took classes at the Culinary Institute of America in Helena, California and continues to hone his cooking skills. French cooking has and continues to be his favorite “genre” of cuisine; Julia Child is his hero.
Dr. B has two sons, Jordan and Scott. Jordan lives in California and Scott on Capital Hill, Seattle. His cat, La La Thundercat, has purred her way into his heart.
Roberta is a native Washingtonian, having lived in Seattle her entire life. She is a local abstract photographic artist, who creates mosaics specific to the Pacific NW.
As one of the originators of Be Well, she has created a place that is both welcoming and professional. A medical clinic where each customer is treated with respect and not as a number.
Roberta finds inspiration living in Shoreline nestled between a grove of cedar trees. She has two grown daughters, residing in Seattle and Austin TX, and a teenage son in high school.
Certified Medical Assistant
Samantha has been working with Dr. Bowers for over ten years. She is the proud mother of three children and they enjoy a multitude of sports with an emphasis on soccer. They also enjoy camping and traveling. Samantha’s favorite part about working with Be Well is the relationships she has with our patients and seeing the joy people experience with immediate results with PDO threading and filler. Although she is modest, we have to say that her blood draw and immunization techniques are unmatched.
Cricket has been with the practice for over six years. She spends as much time as possible with her three grandchildren taking them on expeditions to explore different parks and hiking trails. Crickets favorite part of being a part of the be well staff is the relationships with patients we have had for years as well as meeting new people. Cricket is especially passionate about PRP hair growth for women with PCOS and seeing how the results improve their confidence so dramatically.
Dr. Bowers is the best!
“Dr. Bowers is the best! I previously had lip fillers done elsewhere and had a poor experience. I came to Dr. Bowers and now I won’t go anywhere else! He took the time to listen to what I wanted and did an amazing job. I also see him for laser hair removal. He’s very skilled in everything he does!”
